Nevados Engineering Inc.‘s TRACE™ All Terrain Tracker® has been awarded “Best in Show” in the Large-Scale category of Solar Power World’s 2024 Top Products contest. This recognition highlights the industry’s acceptance of a system that enables solar project development without the need for land grading, preserving topsoil and accommodating complex terrains. The TRACE system allows developers to work with the natural landscape, offering a more sustainable approach to solar construction. It can handle slopes up to 37% and undulations of 26% at each post, eliminating the need for costly and environmentally disruptive grading. This design not only preserves natural landscapes and topsoil but also eases permitting and reduces installation time and labor costs by 38% compared to leading competitors. Nevados also offers an American-made steel option for developers to fully qualify for domestic content tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act, further improving solar project economics. The domestic content version of TRACE is available for orders now with delivery in Q2 2025.
